Scentsy Story
Let’s rewind to 2009 (or maybe 2010—it’s all a fun, fragrance-filled blur!). I first discovered Scentsy through a coworker who casually mentioned, “Oh, my sister’s a Star Director with Scentsy!” And just like that, I was hooked! My very first order? The stunning Scentsy Plum warmer (a gorgeous purple 💜) and some Scentsy Bars in Perfectly Pomegranate, Cucumber Lime, and Blueberry Cheesecake. Can you say LOVE at first scent? My home smelled absolutely divine! But then… my consultant left, and I had no idea who else could keep my fragrance game strong. So, sadly, my Scentsy warmers went into storage.
Fast forward to 2017-ish, and one of my hair clients became a Scentsy consultant! Cue the happy dance!! 💃 I was SO EXCITED to learn that Perfectly Pomegranate and Blueberry Cheesecake were still around (hello, old friends)! I instantly stocked up and, oh boy, my love affair with Lime and Sugarcane began (this is what began my OBSESSION withCoco Lime in 2020) alongside Sweet Cucumber (hello, Cucumber Lime vibes!). Life was SCENTsational again! I used Scentsy faithfully until early 2020 when I switched to essential oils, thanks to my fear of kids and dogs turning my home into a waxy slip-n-slide.
Fast forward again to 2023. I decided to try another company for my home fragrance… and it was okay. But then something amazing happened! In early 2024, a dear friend and mentor (now my director) joined Scentsy, and my mind started racing. I had only done direct sales once before, with a lipstick company (let’s just say it was NOT the most welcoming or budget-friendly experience), so I was hesitant. But after some soul-searching (and a few cups of coffee), I took the leap and signed up as a Scentsy consultant! 🎉
Since that moment, I have LOVED every single part of this Scentsy journey! When your home smells good, YOU feel good! Scent is like a time machine to the best memories, and who doesn’t want to hold onto those forever? Fragrance nourishes a part of your soul that nothing else can, and sharing that gift with friends, family, and everyone else just makes my heart SO HAPPY!
